CLONE

What Is It?

The Clone Action Command is used to automatically copy the value of a multi response variable into a new multi response question. Answers must exist already in both questions but text for answers can be different.

Available for: Multi questions.

How Do I Specify It?

1. Right mouse-click on the target variable in the Designer Pane
2. Select Action Command from the Quick Menu
3. Select CLONE from the drop-down list
4. Enter the variable to be copied, prefaced with an "@" (as shown below)
5. Click "OK" to close the dialogue box.

Example of Use

Target Variable	Clone	Explanation
Multi	@Q3	Copies the selected answers from Q3 into the question
